About

Michael Luk is a versatile digital artist with a background in 2D and 3D conception, animation, illustration, graphic and industrial design.  This site is currently showcasing his illustration work and product development.

Growing up with 3 siblings so close in age, his parents always had the living room TV on.  His mother would pick up English watching Wheel of Fortune and solve murders alongside Angela Lansbury.  Scooby Doo occupied the children long enough to keep them from murdering each other.  As soon as he was able to walk, Michael turned the dial to cartoons.  He watched animations from all eras and some programming that may not have been suitable for young children which may have given him his inventive imagination.

He enrolled in art school to study traditional animation and found his way into 3D.  Prototyping accessories for GI Joe’s 25th Anniversary was just a start in his long career in the toy industry.  He’s developed products for Disney, Fisher Price, Hasbro, Mattel, and retailer brands.
